- Q: How much does the detox program cost?
A: The program has two sections-private and state. Private beds you call and speak to Admissions department for pricing. State beds goes off a sliding scale, it is based on your annual household income. Income verification that you get from the social security office is required to verify your annual income and speak to the Admissions department for pricing.
- Q: Do I have to pay all of the cost up front or is there a payment plan?
A: There is not a payment plan unless otherwise arranged by the Admissions department and any money asked to be paid is due at the time of admission and there are no refunds for any reason.
- Q: Are there any beds available?
A: You have to speak with the Admissions department to find out bed availability. If you live within 50 miles of the facility, you need to come in and do a face to face assessment. If there are no beds available at the time, you will be placed on a waiting list and will be asked to call back every morning following your face to face assessment at 8:00a.m. (If you live over 50 miles from the facility, please call 405.525.2525 for assistance)
- Q: How long sould I expect to stay?
A: The average length of stay is ten days. The length of stay is individualized and based on the person’s needs, amount of use, length of use, and drug of choice.
- Q: Is the facility a lock down facility?
A: The detox facility is voluntary basis only. We do not hold people against their will and we do not use restraints.
- Q: Why is the program not any longer?
Our case managers link our consumers with referrals to inpatient, sober living, outpatient treatment, and also NA or AA 12 step meetings. Our case managers also have the ability to link our consumers with counseling for neglect and abuse etc., food stamps, legal services, and gambling addictions.
- Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: No we do not accept insurance directly. You do have the ability to come through our detox program, pay, complete the program, and file with your insurance personally and have a possibility your insurance would reimburse you if it is covered under your policy.
- Q: What do I need to bring?
A: You will typically need to bring under garments, flip flops, long sleeve shirts (to wear under your scrubs that are provided) unless otherwise approved by Admissions. Everything else is provided for you. NO HOODIES!
- Q: What type of medication do you use for detox?
A: There is an additional charge for Suboxone (which is used in some cases for opiate withdrawals) along with other medications that are non habit forming to help you with your withdrawals including sleep aids, anxiety relief, nausea, diarrhea and constipation for no extra charge for other addictions as well.
- Q: Can we leave to go to court, doctor appointments, etc.?
A: You may leave and return to finish treatment for these types of things. We will require you to take a drug test when you return and it must be negative if the drug you are detoxing from has had enough time to get out of your system. (example: methamphetamines takes 4 days to get out of your system. If you leave on the fifth day to go to a doctor’s appointment, you must have a negative drug test before we can let you come back and complete your treatment.)
- Q: Can I have visitors while I am here detoxing?
A: In some cases, a case manager will approve consumers to have supervised visitation if the case manager feels that is will help the consumer with their recovery or for other extenuating circumstances.
- Q: Can I use the phone or is there a pay phone I can use?
A: Consumer is allowed to make phone calls when approved by their case manager during the business hours of 8a.m. to 5p.m. if it is regarding treatment referrals, doctor’s appointments, attorney, etc. The consumer may use the pay phone for personal calls after 5p.m. No phone calls are made on the pay phone during the regular business hours.
