How it Works

The Patient Experience

Start Your Recovery Journey

STEP 1

Pre-Screening

When you arrive, the first step in our admissions process is a pre-screening (if it hasn’t already been completed). Pre-screenings can be done ahead of time by phone or online.

Depending on staff availability, we may not be able to start right away—but don’t worry, if there’s a short wait, we always have food available for anyone who comes in hungry.

STEP 2

Admissions

After the pre-screening, if it’s determined you’re eligible to be admitted, we’ll begin the admissions process.

This includes answering some questions with a TRC staff member and completing a nursing assessment with one of our licensed nurses. This helps us understand your needs and how to best support you during your stay.

STEP 3

Dress Out and Check In

Once admissions is complete, you’ll be provided with comfortable scrubs to change into. Any personal belongings that cannot go upstairs (such as your phone, keys, wallet, or hoodies) will be safely stored in a locked room with code-entry access.

From there, we’ll take you upstairs, introduce you to our staff, and show you to your room so you can settle in and begin the healing process.

“I had no idea how good life was going to get when I first walked into TRC. They were there for me when no one else could be, and because they said yes, everything changed. Today, I have nine years sober, full custody of my kids, and I get to help other addicts and alcoholics find hope too. I’ll always be grateful to TRC for being the place that gave me a chance when I needed it most.”
